November 23, 2020Miami, FL – nation.academy today announced the nation.academy labSM for the Miami area through its strategic partnership with High Voltage Volleyball Club and its nation.academy clubSM solution. The facility will be located at Pines City Center in Pembroke Pines, FL. Initial renderings have been released by the nation.academy designSM team and the project has entered a Letter of Intent. The facility will feature one match court that converts to two training courts and is expected to be available for the start of the 2021 season.
High Voltage Volleyball Academy has won multiple USA Volleyball and AAU national championships since its inception in 2016 and typically fields 4-5 academy level teams that compete on a national schedule with up to 100 players. In just 5 seasons, High Voltage has grown tremendously not only as a business but also finally seeing the results of endless hours of training through the exceptional accomplishment of its athletes.

We have the opportunity to provide a state-of-the-art experience for our athletes & members. “Designing the nation.academy miami labSM gave us the opportunity to create something visually exciting, while concentrating on an efficient use of space for high-level play. This will be a powerful addition to the Miami volleyball market,” noted Brad Thornton, managing director of nation.academy design and COO/Co-owner of Interactive Sports Group.
“We are excited to launch the first nation.academy lab in the greater Miami area to support our strategic partner High Voltage Volleyball Club while we continue to select a site for a permanent nation.academy campusSM in the area. The “miami lab” will allow High Voltage to provide a consistent training solution to take their players to the next level,” said nation.academy Interim CEO Anthony Gebbia.
nation.academy is expected new announce design projects in the coming months in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
