Charleston Academy Announces Development Program

Charleston, SC – Charleston Academy today announced its year-round Player Development Program for players ages 5-10 starting April 2.  The program will be every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:15 – 7:00 PM at iSOL and run on a year-round basis.

“Early stage player development is essential to building a strong player pool and a long-term volleyball culture in our community.  We want to provide young players the opportunity to develop great technical abilities so they can be ready for academy level competition when they are older,” said Jaime Shamis, Club Director.

The program will be led by Tim Alaniz who in addition to being a Technical Analyst for the academy is leading the development and outreach program.

Parents need to sign players up as new USA Volleyball Members (join here) and then join the Charleston Academy Development Program monthly membership.
