John Forman Appointed Head Coach of Medaille

Charleston, SC – nation.academy’s Director of Volleyball, John Forman, has been appointed as the Head Coach of both the Men’s and Women’s teams at Medaille College.  Medaille is a private liberal arts college in Buffalo, New York. The men’s and women’s teams compete as part of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference at the NCAA Division III level.

Forman came to nation.academy’s predecessor, charleston.academy, as its Technical Director in 2018.  When charleston.academy evolved to nation.academy in 2019 Forman took on the role of Director of Volleyball.  In addition to nation.academy, Forman has published multiple books on coaching volleyball and regularly creates content around the sport in various forms. He holds a PhD in Behavioral Finance from Exeter (UK), an MBA from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the University of Rhode Island – both of the latter concentrating in Finance.

Forman will continue to work with nation.academy as a Global Director of Volleyball on its advisory board along with other Global Directors of the respective sports.

“We are sad to see John leave us on a full time basis, but happy he will continue on our journey with nation.academy as a Global Director of Volleyball on our advisory board with other leaders in the field of sport.  We wish John all the best and hope to see him out on the road recruiting in the future for Medaille,” noted Anthony Gebbia interim CEO of nation.academy.
