Charleston, SC – Charleston Academy today announced its inaugural season schedule. The schedule features no less than five national qualifier tournaments including, but not limited to, Beast of the Southeast (Atlanta, GA), Disney Volleyball Showcase (Orlando, FL), Palmetto Region tournament (Charlotte, NC), Big South (Atlanta, GA) and the adidas Windy City (Chicago, IL). Teams will also compete in AAU Nationals (Orlando, FL) as well. The club will compete in the Open division at every availability in its quest to build national caliber club brand.
“We feel its imperative to state our mission and demonstrate how we will fulfill that mission. Part of our mission is to compete at the highest level possible every chance we get by pursing a USAV national title(s). We are clearly stating our purpose of what exactly we are playing for and how we will seek to achieve that goal. We understand success may not come right away, but it starts with playing with and against the best competition available and qualifying for nationals is a big step in that direction. We also think it is vital to support the region we are members of and play in their region tournament each year as well which is also a national qualifier,” said Jaime Shamis, Club Director.
