Charleston, SC – due to the SCHSL league state finals being on November 9, we are moving our 15+ tryout date to November 16 at 2PM at Mount Pleasant Town Hall.
“With over 100+ high school aged players competing in Varsity state finals across the state, JV players wanting to support their Varsity teams and parents supporting their schools we felt in necessary to make sure our tryout date was convenient for as many players as possible. We also want to make sure players have adequate recovery time from the travel and such an emotional charged weekend to perform their best at tryouts,” noted Club Director Jaime Shamis.
As per Palmetto Region policy, nation.academy reserves the right to make offers to players from November 9, but they are not required to commit until Decision Day on Sunday, November 17 unless they choose to do so earlier.
The club tryout page has specific information on what is required to tryout for one or multiple clubs as well as the PVA’s Tryout Policies. nation.academy will communicate regularly with the volleyball community via social media with information players and parents need to know about the Palmetto Region Open Tryout and Signing Period. More information will follow subject to the annual PVA meeting on August 18.
Players wishing to tryout for nation.academy can register to do so through the new Charleston Academy Bronze Membership. We are limiting registration spots to 50 per age group and closing registration two weeks prior to tryout dates. Late registration spots will be subject to availability and an additional $25.
